I started this Blog earlier in August so I couldn´t talk about Batman´s 75 Years, so in conmemoration of that magic day I leave you with the list of what I think are the best Batman stories.
Enjoy:
5.-Batman The Killing Joke
The plot revolves around the Joker's attempt to drive Gotham City Police Commissioner James Gordon insane, and is intercut with the villain's flashbacks to his life before his disfigurement and criminal life.
4-.Batman Dark Victory/Catwoman When in Rome
It has been several months after the killer known as "Holiday" was apprehended. "Holiday" was actually Alberto Falcone, attempting to one-up his father, and prove he is more than capable of handling the family business. Janice Porter has replaced Harvey Dent as Gotham City's District Attorney and despises Batman's methods, althoughCommissioner Gordon tries to sway her opinion.
3-.Batman Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth
Commissioner Gordon informs Batman that the patients of Arkham Asylum have taken over the facility, threatening to murder the staff unless Batman agrees to meet with them. Among the hostages are Dr. Charles Cavendish, Arkham's administrator, and Dr. Ruth Adams, a therapist. The patients are led by the Joker, who kills a guard to spur Batman to obey his wishes.
2-.Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.
The Dark Knight Returns is set in 1986 in Gotham City. Bruce Wayne is 55 years old and has retired as Batman; and levels of crime are rising. Wayne, finding his retirement difficult, becomes Batman again.
1-.Batman: The Long Halloween
On Halloween, Johnny Viti is shot twice in the head by an unknown assailant while taking a bath. The perpetrator leaves behind the murder weapon, a .22 caliber pistol with the nipple of a baby bottle used as a crude silencer, as well as a jack-o-lantern.
